Fingland Farm Holiday let just north of Eskdalemuir, is a totally self contained cottage, providing a quiet retreat away from the chaos of everyday life, with beautiful walks and discoveries from the first step outside.
The space
The attached cottage is an extension of our house, ground floor level.
It is completely independent with its own entrance.
Fully double glazed with central heating and log burner (logs provided), providing a large cosy lounge.
The entrance conservatory provides a perfect spot to relax and take in the view.
Newly fitted kitchen, fully equipped with modern appliances. Comfortable bathroom with electric shower. Beautiful double bedroom with King-size bed.

Home to our Superstol
At Fingland Farm we operate our Superstol, the very capable 600kg bush plane from Just Aircraft.
The Superstol is a 2 seat, Rotax 100hp powered bush plane designed for short takeoffs and even shorter landings, There are many great videos of the Superstol
in action, this one has to be one of the best.
The Farmstrip at Fingland
Grass farmstrip 34/16 length at just 270 meters. Be sure to be capable of good STOL.
No landing fees.

Approaches
From the North is relatively clear. From the South the threshold is preceded by pine trees reaching around 40ft. in light winds the preferred entry exit is to the North.
Accommodation
There is a one double bedroom Airbnb cottage available on site.
Overnight hangarage is also available for one small aircraft.
